Fairly relaxed morning as we don’t fly until 3pm. We’d pre-booked a “shuttle” but this turned out to be a large SUV with only one other passenger and a uniformed chauffeur; the notorious Seattle traffic was not in evidence, so we arrived at airport very early. And then got through all the formalities (including US Customs and Immigration) in record time! Managed to find a duty-free gin that exactly matched our remaining US currency.

Uneventful flight back to reasonable weather, apparently better than it has been recently. And so back to Spondon...

Hello Derek and Anne,
congratulations on finishing this remarkable trip!
Thanks for all the great insights to this rather remote destination and all of Derek's very British remarks.
Hope you feel well at home now.
Kind regards
Odo
